I'm here blogging with educators at the Google Apps for Education Illinois Summit. I'm asking these three familiar questions:
1.) What is a blog? A way to share - a communication tool. An electronic diary... a reflection... sharing pictures and video... you can comment on it. Makes anyone a newspaper reporter.
2.) What is the read/write web? You're not just a consumer... you can publish... it's interactive...
3.) What do these technologies mean for you and your students? They can publish... you can start a paperless classroom... you're available... a more authentic audience... an avenue to have their voice be heard.
